The strategic evaluation of six major school sites in Kent for potential enhancement and redevelopment by PFI bidders required a comprehensive yet broad-based investigation and assessment by Geo-Environmental. Our team were appointed for our expertise and experience, to advise on issues affecting a variety of different development alternatives in each of the sites. Our proposals for undertaking the desk studies and ground investigations were favored by the client, based on our ability to rapidly mobilize to site and our proposed working practices which were appropriate to active school sites. The investigation enabled the authorities to make strategic decisions regarding development options, and enabled subsequent PFI bidders to tender with confidence.
