What is BIM?
BIM (Building Information Modelling) is a method of working and collaborating on a project through its entire life from initial feasibility, through to design, construction and maintenance. This allows information and data from different systems to be integrated, accessed and viewed to build the big picture; the model of the complete design. Geo-Environmental achieve this by using the latest Holebase SI software.
From 2013 Geo-Environmental has been using BIM software which has enabled fieldwork, monitoring and lab result data to be handled according to AGS formats.
Using the latest software, the outputs from HBSI may be imported into AutoCAD using the Civils 3D extension allowing creation of 3D geological models and dynamic sections.
All of our staff has been trained to an advanced level in Holebase SI to enable fast, efficient and accurate modelling for each project undertaken
