Tuesday was a very early start. From helping the Rotary Club with putting up the Christmas tree in Arundel town square we dashed to London for the ACE Sustainability Group meeting.
Very interesting discussion about why using the 5 capitals models for sustainability (as discussed in the Future of Consulting Paper https://www.acenet.co.uk/media/4458/foc-a5-overview-2019.pdf) in project procurement would be a fantastic driver for changing the culture within the construction industry to meet the Net Zero target. Whether this target proves to be 2030 or 2050 is yet to be determined. Regardless of the date, meeting the target will mean radical change and it is bold ideas such as this that will help get us there.
