It seems that again that the situation with regards to Covid-19 in the UK is changing rapidly, with infections on the rise across most parts of the country. In response to this I have been talking with Ed Newman, who is our health and safety manager and Tom Phillips from RPA Safety, who is our competent advisor on what we do next.

In some respects this is easy, we have not changed our working arrangements since lockdown in April, the 2m rule is observed whilst working on site or in the office and our default position remains that staff should avoid any unnecessary travel and should work from home wherever possible. As a ground investigation company we need to attend site and will continue to follow the protocols set up in April to ensure this is done safely. We ask all staff to avoid risk wherever possible.

As an organisation we managed to remain open throughout the last lockdown and have avoided any absences due to Covid-19. We aim to continue this level of due diligence and continue to provide a continued and safe service going forward.
