As part of Shoreham Port’s Sustainability Week, the Sussex Branch of the Institute of Directors has been invited to Shoreham Port on the evening of Thursday 29th of September. This will be an opportunity for existing and prospective members, and any local companies who are interested in advancing their own sustainability journeys, to have the opportunity to take inspiration from the very successful sustainability employed by Shoreham Port and network with other local businesses.
The evening will explore the progress they have made and their future priorities to ensure that they are set up to achieve our ten-point Masterplan.
Presentations will cover their ever-expanding presence as a key economic driver for Southeast England, the complex role and commitments they make to their varied communities, and their plans for future cargos. With ambitious sustainability goals, they will also share their award-winning approach to property development of the 110-acre estate and the latest on our green hydrogen energy hub.
Following the presentations, an optional guided walk (weather permitting!) will be offered to view some of the Port’s sustainability initiatives in action on the ground.
